This started out as a doodle when I was almost bored to death in the class room. It was the second first day of school and and I were over 4 hours early for our next class. Reason is we went to school early because of drop-in figure drawing classes. (T_T…three hours of it, that’s our homework every week… it costs us $5 per drop in… homework that costs us. Who would have thought? One of the reasons why I’m going broke ever so often. Not to mention the bus pass I have to buy every month… $69. Being a college student SUCKS! I’ve been sacrificing lunch like every other day because of this… It’s like you can’t buy a decent lunch under $5 at the freaking cafeteria. So I’ve been living off vending machines lol! God Bless them.) I don’t think I should get a job either. The work load is going to stack up…I can feel it. It’s the calm before the storm.

Annnyywaaay…nuff of that rant

Like I said… it was a doodle...then I had time, so I threw a background to save myself from boredom. After, I got bored so I fell asleep on the couch.

I think this is actually the first time I did a background on Photoshop! That organic tree looking thing in the foreground took most of my patience. It was coloured three times because I was stupid enough to forget to use reference, so it was mostly done with trial and error.

The light source especially on the orbs is ambiguous because the light was supposed to becoming from within the orb. But oh well. Don’t want to make it look more like a light bulb then a gem stone.

My mom said this picture reminds her of Halloween. ^^

This piece didn’t come out the way I imagined it to be. Then again, how often does it?
