I'll admit I have a soft spot for Sailor Moon. besides Ghibli films, Sailor Moon was the first anime I watched. (but ironically was not the thing that got me interested in the whole genre.) I had seen it before it entered North American television. The only way I could get a hold of the series was in a Chinese video rental store and watch dubbed in Cantonese on giant lazer discs.
