As you can tell, I'm no pro when it comes the backgrounds (espcially with tradional mediums). it was foolish of me to paint the background AFTER colouring the character. This is only because I finally decided on an idea for a bg after finishing the character. It was originally going to be left white but I couldn't stand it being bgless and had to put something there. This would also explain why the character seems out of place. (besides the colour)

There are also quite a bit of other things that could have been improved here but unfortunatly it's too late to change it now. The downside of working with tradional mediums. but either way it was fun working with it again. plus it was good bg practice.
